Role Description The Architect Draftsman role is a full time, on-site position based in Solan.

The Architect

Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and technical plans for auditorium interiors and related systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include translating design concepts into accurate 2D and 3D drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, and technicians, and updating drawings based on site conditions and client feedback. The role involves supporting project documentation, assisting in quantity take-offs,



and contributing to integration of technical elements such as acoustics, lighting, seating, and stage equipment.

The Architect

Draftsman will also participate in site visits, collaborate with project management teams, and maintain organized records of design revisions and approvals.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create precise technical drawings and layouts for auditorium projects.
- Experience in Integration of architectural plans with technical systems (acoustics, lighting, seating, and stage equipment) to ensure cohesive designs.
- Foundational understanding of Software Development concepts as they relate to CAD/BIM tools, drawing management, and design workflows.
- Demonstrated Project Management abilities, including coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and handling documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and apply building codes and standards.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and clients during onsite visits.
- Prior experience with auditorium, theater, or large public space projects is an advantage.
