Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Anesthesiologist role based at Mayom Hospital in Gurugram. The Anesthesiologist will assess patients pre-operatively, determine appropriate anesthesia plans, and administer anesthesia for a range of surgical and procedural interventions. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patients intra-operatively, managing pain and sedation, and ensuring safe recovery in post-anesthesia and critical care settings.

The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes and uphold hospital protocols. The Anesthesiologist will also contribute to clinical documentation, quality assurance,



and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Anesthesiology, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care.
- Broad clinical knowledge of Medicine and Surgery to safely manage patients across various specialties.
- Skills in Pain Management for acute and chronic conditions, including post-surgical pain control.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Critical Care Nursing and multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity settings.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology (MD/DNB or equivalent), with valid registration from relevant medical council.
- Proven experience in a hospital or multi-specialty environment; prior work in operating theatres, ICUs, and emergency settings is beneficial.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety, infection control, and ethical practice.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, and readiness to participate in 24x7 care rotas as required.
