Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Android Developer with approximately 2-3 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Android application development, proficiency in Java and Kotlin, and hands-on experience with Retrofit, Room Database, SQL, and XML-based and Jetpack Compose UI layouts. The candidate should be eager to learn, contribute to reliable mobile solutions, and collaborate effectively with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Integrate external APIs and data sources into Android applications.
- Ensure application performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness across supported devices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Write readable, maintainable, and well-organized code in line with team standards.
- Support testing, debugging, and ongoing improvements throughout the mobile development lifecycle.
- Use version control and follow established development workflows.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 2-3 years of qualified experience in Android development.
- Good knowledge of the Android SDK and familiarity with different Android versions and screen sizes.
- Proficiency in Java, Familiarity with Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Retrofit or a similar library for network communication.
- Knowledge of Room Database for local data persistence.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database fundamentals.
- Experience creating UI layouts using XML ad jetpack compose.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating Android applications with back-end services.
- Understanding of the end-to-end mobile application development lifecycle.
- Experience with Git or another version control system.
- Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of offline data storage, threading, and basic performance optimization.
