Role & responsibilities

- Own features end to end across OYO, CheckIn and My6: design, build, release, measure.
- Build shared modules (search, booking, payments, personalisation) reused across the three apps.
- Ship server-driven UI so deals and campaigns go live without an app release.
- Write and own backend-for-frontend APIs that shape data for mobile.
- Keep the apps rapid and stable on low-end devices and slow networks (crash-free, ANR and latency targets).
- Review code and mentor SDE-1s.

Area Must-have

- Kotlin Coroutines (scopes, dispatchers, structured concurrency, cancellation),

Flow/StateFlow, sealed and data classes

- Android UI Jetpack Compose (state hoisting, recomposition, side effects), View interop,

RecyclerView/DiffUtil, Navigation

- Android architecture MVVM/MVI, Hilt/Dagger scopes, modularisation,
- Room, DataStore, offline-first caching
- Android platform Activity/Fragment lifecycle, process death and saved state, WorkManager and background limits, deep links, Binder basics
- Performance & stability Cold start, jank, memory leaks and heap limits, image loading/caching,



Crashlytics, ANR and crash trace debugging
- Build & security Gradle, R8/ProGuard keep rules, app size, Play
- Integrity, encrypted storage, staged Play rollouts

Good-to-haves

- Multi-brand or white-label app architecture or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Payments (UPI, Google Pay, Apple Pay) and travel/booking domain experience.
- Personalisation or recommendation features on mobile.
- iOS (Swift) exposure.
