Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Alliant / RPREP / RRDM Application Consultant to support revenue calculation, financial processing, compliance, and data management applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in L2/L3 production support, financial calculation platforms, SQL analysis, data reconciliation, and incident management.

The role requires the ability to independently troubleshoot application issues, resolve calculation discrepancies, support financial-close activities, and coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure application stability and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for Alliant, RPREP, RRDM, or similar revenue and financial-calculation applications.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, calculation errors, data discrepancies, and production issues.
- Troubleshoot calculation models, business rules, formulas, and data-processing workflows.
- Perform SQL-based analysis, data staging, reconciliation, and validation.
- Support application integrations, batch processing, compliance routines, and financial-close activities.
- Manage high-priority incidents, including P1 escalations and participation in the defined on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with finance teams, business users, HMH Service Desk, NOC/ProdOps, retained technical teams, and product vendors.
- Create and maintain runbooks, Known Error Database (KEDB) articles, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports, and transition documentation.
- Estimate minor application changes, support testing,



and validate production releases.
- Reverse-engineer processes with limited documentation and develop clear, reusable support documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in application support, production support, or financial/revenue-processing systems.
- Hands-on L2/L3 production support experience with the ability to independently diagnose incidents.
- Experience with revenue calculation platforms, financial applications, or similar calculation-intensive systems.
- Strong understanding of calculation models, formulas, business rules, and financial-data reconciliation.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Experience supporting integrations, batch jobs, data staging, and compliance-related processes.
- Experience with incident management, problem management, RCA, and support documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across business and technical teams.
- Ability to support financial-close cycles and work in an assigned IST/EST-aligned shift.
- Willingness to participate in the defined P1 on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Direct hands-on experience with Alliant, RPREP, or RRDM applications.
- Experience supporting financial calculations, revenue processing, or compliance applications in a production environment.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes, KEDB maintenance, release validation, and operational handovers.

Work Expectations
