Role: AI Architect – Migration Automation

Location: Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad/Chennai/Gurgaon

Responsibilities

- Define the AI architecture and strategy for AI-led automation of the DataStage to Microsoft Fabric migration.
- Design scalable GenAI and agentic solutions for migration assessment, code analysis, conversion, validation, documentation, and defect resolution.
- Architect AI agents/bots that can understand DataStage jobs, ETL logic, mappings, dependencies, and metadata and generate Fabric-compatible solutions.
- Design and implement LLM, RAG, and knowledge-base architectures using migration code, technical documentation, metadata, standards, and historical project knowledge.
- Define approaches for LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, model selection, evaluation, and continuous improvement to maximize accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Establish AI evaluation frameworks and quality gates covering conversion accuracy, validation results, model performance, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise repositories, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, migration platforms, and data engineering tools.
- Define AI security, governance, responsible AI, data privacy, access control, and compliance standards for enterprise deployment.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase automation,



productivity, and quality across the migration factory.
- Provide technical leadership to AI Engineers and collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, QA, and program leadership.
- Lead technical POCs, architecture reviews, solution design, and production deployment of AI capabilities.
- Establish reusable AI frameworks, design patterns, standards, and best practices across migration workstreams.

Qualifications

- 10–14 years of experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, Solution Architecture, or AI Engineering.

Required Skills

- Solid experience architecting LLM, GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions for enterprise use cases.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Services, Python, APIs, model evaluation, and AI application architecture.
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval.
- Experience designing AI solutions for code generation, code conversion, automation, or legacy modernization.
- Strong understanding of AI security, governance, scalability, observability, and production deployment.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience with IBM DataStage, ETL, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure data platforms.
- Experience building AI solutions for migration factories or large-scale data/technology modernization programs.
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar.
- Azure AI/Generative AI certifications preferred.
- Experience with Github copilot and SLMs
