Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Agriculture & Plantation Executive to manage plantation activities, tree maintenance, plant health, pest control, and routine agricultural operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring healthy plant growth, maintaining green spaces, implementing appropriate plantation practices, and monitoring the overall health and development of trees and plants.

Candidates with an Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, or related educational background and a practical interest in plantation and farm management are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Plantation Management: Plan and execute plantation activities, including site preparation, soil preparation, planting, transplanting, and seasonal plantation planning.
- Tree & Plant Care: Monitor tree growth, watering, pruning, fertilization, mulching, and general plant maintenance.
- Pest & Disease Management: Identify plant diseases and pest infestations and implement appropriate control measures.
- Pesticide & Fertilizer Application: Manage the safe and correct application of pesticides, fertilizers, and other agro-inputs as per recommended guidelines.
- Soil & Irrigation Management: Monitor soil health, moisture levels, drainage, and irrigation requirements.
- Plant Health Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections to identify unhealthy plants, nutrient deficiencies, and other growth-related issues.
- Manpower Coordination: Coordinate with plantation workers and supervise daily plantation and maintenance activities, where required.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of saplings, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, tools, and other agricultural materials.
- Reporting:



Prepare routine reports on plantation progress, plant survival rates, pest control activities, and maintenance requirements.
- Field Operations: Ensure regular on-site monitoring and timely execution of plantation and agricultural activities.

Educational Qualifications Candidates with qualifications in any of the following streams are preferred:
- B.Sc. Agriculture / M.Sc. Agriculture
- B.Sc. Horticulture or related disciplines
- Forestry, Plant Science, or Environmental Science
- Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or relevant agricultural fields

Candidates from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Centurion University, ITER/Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, Sri Sri University, or other recognized institutions offering relevant programs are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of plantation techniques, tree care, and plant maintenance.
- Understanding of pesticides, fertilizers, and common plant diseases.
- Practical knowledge of irrigation, soil preparation, and plant nutrition.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in an outstation location.
- Good observation, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain basic field records and daily activity reports.
- Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn new agricultural practices.

Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in plantation, agriculture, horticulture, nursery management, or farm operations is preferred.
- Freshers with solid practical knowledge and a willingness to work in field conditions may also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: ₹12,000–₹15,000, depending on experience and suitability.
