: Admission Counsellor & Alumni Relations Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a confident, proactive, and result-oriented professional to manage student admissions, counselling, and alumni relations. The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, building relationships with alumni, and developing engagement opportunities with educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Admission Counselling

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, academic programs, eligibility criteria, and admission procedures.
- Handle student inquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Explain course details, fee structures, career opportunities, and program benefits.
- Assist students with application forms, documentation, and admission formalities.
- Achieve admission and enrolment targets.

Alumni Relations

- Identify, research, and build databases of alumni from colleges, universities, and educational institutions.
- Connect with alumni through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with alumni, alumni associations, and institutional representatives.
- Conduct outreach campaigns to encourage alumni participation in networking, mentoring, fundraising, and institutional engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with colleges, universities, HODs, placement cells, and alumni offices.




- Maintain alumni records, engagement history, contact details, and follow-up reports.
- Support alumni networking events, partnership initiatives, and engagement programs.
- Research alumni profiles, professional backgrounds, and potential collaboration opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a relevant qualification is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in admission counselling, alumni relations, educational outreach, student recruitment, or business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Experience with cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn research, and database management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with colleges, universities, educational institutions, or alumni networks.
- Knowledge of alumni engagement, institutional partnerships, and student admission processes.
- Solid research, data collection, and professional communication skills.
