Role Description The Accountant role at INLAY is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, record financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and ensure accurate documentation of income, expenses, and project-related costs. The role includes preparing and reviewing invoices, processing vendor and contractor payments, tracking receivables, and reconciling bank accounts.

The Accountant will support monthly and annual closing activities, assist in budgeting and financial reporting, and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.



This position also involves collaborating with project, operations, and management teams to provide clear financial insights and maintain transparent, organized financial records.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as Tally, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and basic MS Office applications.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, invoicing, and compliance with applicable financial and statutory regulations.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills for budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial data interpretation.
- Candidates should possess clear communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Relevant experience in accounting, preferably in interiors, construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments, is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA or equivalent in progress) are an advantage.
- Robust attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting are essential.
