Position: Accountant
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Relevant Accounting Qualification
Location: KINFRA-MENAMKULAM, TRIVANDRUM
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including payment follow-ups.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, profit & loss statements, and MIS reports.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, as applicable.
- Assist in payroll accounting, expense verification, and salary-related entries.
- Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and banking transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
