Role Description The Accountant role at FCS Filings is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank and ledger accounts.

Responsibilities also include assisting with budgeting, monitoring expenses, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.



The role involves collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate financial reports and insights that support business decisions.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and financial analysis tools.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
