Department: Accounts & FinanceLocation: Dass & Brown Experiential Learning School (DBELS), Panchkula

Job PurposeTo manage the school's day-to-day accounting operations, cash and cashbook maintenance, banking transactions, vendor bill verification, payment processing, advance reconciliation, financial documentation, and monthly closing activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance with established SOPs, and timely reporting to the Head Office.

- Key Skills & CompetenciesWorking knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Strong skills in cashbook maintenance, cash reconciliation, and banking operations.
- Knowledge of vendor invoice verification, purchase accounting, and advance management.




- Understanding of GST invoice requirements and TDS/TCS applicability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Robust attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills.
- Effective follow-up, coordination, and time-management abilities.
- Integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and adherence to financial controls.
- Performance ExpectationsAccurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Daily reconciliation of physical cash with the cashbook.
- Timely submission of cashbooks and monthly expense reports.
- Proper verification and documentation of vendor bills and payments.
- Regular reconciliation and timely settlement of advances.
- Maintenance of complete and organized accounting records.
- Compliance with school policies, approval procedures, and prescribed SOPs.
