Smart Homes is Hiring: Account Executive

Location: Viman Nagar, Pune

Smart Homes is a growing home automation company providing smart living solutions for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in the field of accounting and finance.

This role is suitable for candidates with 1+ years of experience who want hands-on exposure in real-time business accounting, compliance, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including data entry, voucher posting, and maintenance of sales, purchase, receipt, and payment records.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes such as invoice verification, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Help with bank reconciliation, cash book maintenance, and basic bookkeeping.
- Assist in GST-related work including invoice checking, data preparation, and filing support.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for billing, payments, and related documents.
- Support month-end closing activities and preparation of basic MIS reports.
- Maintain inventory and stock records for automation materials,



including inward and outward entries in accounting/inventory software.
- Assist in stock reconciliation, physical verification, and reporting of discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock.

Required Skills & Qualifications :
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS is an added advantage (training can be provided).
- Basic working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or similar.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes :
- Exposure to the construction, interior, electrical, or automation industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude and readiness to learn recent processes.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
