Role Description The Epub Executive role is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing end-to-end ePub production workflows for digital publications. Day-to-day tasks include converting source files into ePub formats, formatting and styling content according to project specifications, and ensuring compatibility across devices and reading platforms. The role involves performing quality checks, resolving formatting and layout issues,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and client standards. The Epub Executive also maintains documentation of processes, adheres to best practices in digital publishing, and contributes to continuous improvement of tools and workflows.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in ePub creation tools and workflows (e.g., InDesign, Sigil, Calibre, or similar ePub editors).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic XML for structuring and styling digital content.
- Experience with digital publishing standards, responsive layouts, and cross-device compatibility.
- Attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough quality checks on formatting, typography, and layout.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate remotely with designers, developers, and project managers using digital communication tools.
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and best practices for inclusive digital content is an advantage.
- Prior experience in ePub production, digital publishing, or related fields is preferred; relevant certification or a degree in a technical, publishing, or media discipline is beneficial.
