The Senior Product Manager owns the strategy, design, and delivery of products within the Private Funds domain of the Clearwater system. The role covers the full product lifecycle, from defining the product and planning development through production and go-to-market. You will build the product roadmap needed to achieve bookings, client NPS, and gross margin targets for your component.

This is a technical product role. You will work with engineering on data models, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows, and you will be a domain authority on how private funds are structured, reported, and valued. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and prospects to identify new capabilities, partner with development teams to build and launch them, and pilot recent features with clients before promoting them to the wider client base.

Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of 8-15 developers, supporting knowledge-sharing and training to build team effectiveness.
• Product Ownership: Own the Private Funds product(s) end to end,



from ideation through market launch and ongoing evolution.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the backlog, balancing client-facing features, data quality, and platform investments in line with business goals.
• Technical Requirement Definition: Write clear, detailed requirements and acceptance criteria, including data model changes, schema definitions, API contracts, validation rules, and data lineage expectations.
• Private Funds Data Modeling: Define and evolve the domain data model, including GP/LP structures, master/feeder relationships, fund and asset taxonomies and sub-types, and the treatment of capital account and PCAP statements, capital call and distribution notices, and NAV and performance data.
