Summary of Position
Teladoc Health is seeking a Senior/Mid Software Engineer – Mirth / Healthcare Interoperability to join our engineering organization and build, enhance, and support healthcare integrations that enable the secure and reliable exchange of clinical and operational data.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Mirth Connect, HL7v2, and healthcare interoperability. The engineer will design and implement complex integration workflows, troubleshoot production interfaces, collaborate with internal teams and external healthcare partners, and contribute to the evolution of our integration platform.
The ideal candidate brings solid expertise in Mirth Connect and HL7v2,



combined with solid software engineering, integration, debugging, and production support skills. Experience with FHIR, EHR/EMR integrations, and healthcare interoperability standards is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Integration & Engineering
• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain healthcare interfaces using Mirth Connect.

• Develop complex integration workflows for HL7v2 message parsing, transformation, validation, routing, and delivery.

• Develop reusable and maintainable JavaScript-based transformations and business logic within Mirth Connect.

• Integrate healthcare systems using TCP/MLLP, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, and other integration protocols.

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and production-ready integration solutions.

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, healthcare organizations, and external vendors
