Role Description The Online Maths Tutor US Shift Timing (12:30AM-4:30AM) role is a part-time, remote position focused on teaching mathematics to school-age learners through virtual sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging online lessons, explaining mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible way, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles. The tutor will monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and address questions or difficulties in real time. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of sessions,



collaborating with the academic team when needed, and ensuring a positive, inclusive learning experience aligned with Codeyoung’s student-centric approach.
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in core Mathematics, including Algebra, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
• Experience in Online Tutoring and Tutoring, preferably with school-age students in a virtual environment.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal explanation and supportive written feedback.
• Comfort with digital tools and online classroom platforms; ability to manage interactive sessions across US shift timings.
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience, especially in K–12 math; a background in Education, Mathematics, or a related field is an advantage.
