Role Description This is a full-time, in office Quantity Surveyor (QS) Civil Engineer role based in Chennai. The role involves preparing and reviewing estimates, bills of quantities, and cost plans for civil engineering and construction projects. Daily tasks include quantity take-offs from drawings, validation of contractor bills, cost monitoring, and assisting with budgeting and tender preparation.



The QS Civil Engineer will collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective resource utilization and compliance with project specifications. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, supporting contract administration, and contributing to value engineering and risk assessments.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong quantity surveying and cost estimation skills, including preparing BOQs, cost plans, and tender documents.
• Candidates should possess civil engineering and construction knowledge, including familiarity with structural works, infrastructure projects, and standard building materials.
• Candidates should possess planning and project control abilities, such as budgeting, cost monitoring, and progress reporting.
