About The Role

Swayamvar is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the company's complete accounting function. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of the entire accounting process with minimal supervision. Candidates with experience in retail accounting and inventory-linked financial management will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting, including bookkeeping, general ledgers, and journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.




• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records.
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants and auditors for audits and statutory filings.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports for management.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience independently managing full-cycle accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally or equivalent accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Ability to manage accounting operations independently with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in the retail industry is strongly preferred.
