Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer with 3-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade Android applications. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Kotlin/Java, Android architecture patterns, REST API integration, unit testing, and modern Android development practices. The role involves technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and driving mobile application architecture and design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
- Lead end-to-end mobile application development efforts from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions using Android best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following coding standards and design principles.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure application stability and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

Required Technical Skills

Mobile Development

- Strong experience in Android Application Development
- Expertise in Kotlin and Java
- Solid knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack Components
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Deep understanding of Android application lifecycle and performance optimization




- Experience developing applications for multiple Android versions and devices

Architecture & Design

- Strong experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger
- Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming
- Hands-on experience with Android Architecture Components

API & Data Management

- RESTful API integration
- Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON parsing
- Experience with Room Database and SQLite
- Knowledge of Firebase Services, Push Notifications, and Analytics

Testing & Quality

- Experience with Unit Testing using JUnit and Mockito
- UI Testing using Espresso (preferred)
- Experience in code review and quality assurance practices

Tools & Dev Ops

- Git and version control systems
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with Play Store release management and deployment processes

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure or AWS Cloud services
- Knowledge of Mobile Security best practices
- Exposure to Microservices-based backend architectures
- Understanding of performance monitoring and crash analytics tools
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (Good to Have)

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
