Job Title: Equity & Deferred Compensation

Experience: 8 to 14 Years

Location: Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end deferred compensation operations, including grants, vesting, settlements, leaver processing, and share trading.

- Manage America's stakeholders and coordinate global operations across regions.

- Review and approve buyout estimations, deferred awards, and complex transactions.

- Guide junior team members and resolve escalated employee and stakeholder queries.

- Oversee compliance, SOPs, operational controls, regulatory reporting, and audit requirements.

- Review data accuracy, reconciliations, forecasting, and management reports.

- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Tax teams.

- Lead system enhancements, UAT, transformation projects, and process improvement initiatives.

Requisites

- Postgraduate/MBA qualification in a relevant field.





- Strong knowledge of deferred compensation, employee share plans, and plan administration.

- Experience in governance, approvals, compliance, and operational risk controls.

- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.

- Advanced MS Excel skills, including complex formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.

- Experience with HR systems, vendor platforms, data reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

- Solid understanding of compensation, payroll, stock buyout valuations, and tax implications.

- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

- Knowledge of Workday, Success Factors, Equate Plus, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley platforms, VBA, and SOX controls is preferred.
