Position Summary

The Inside Sales Engineer will independently manage customer RFQs and sales opportunities from inquiry review through techno-commercial proposal, negotiation support and order conversion. The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and a sound understanding of industrial instrumentation, automation and associated engineering products. The candidate is expected to manage multiple opportunities, coordinate effectively with customers and OEMs, and contribute directly to sales targets and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• RFQ & Chance Management: Independently review RFQs, datasheets, BOQs, P&IDs; and project
specifications; identify technical/commercial requirements, exclusions and clarifications; prioritize opportunities based on value and probability.
• Technical Selection: Select and size suitable instruments/products based on application requirements and
coordinate with OEMs/principals for technical confirmation where required.
• Techno-Commercial Proposals: Prepare technically compliant and commercially competitive quotations,



including compliance/deviation statements, pricing, delivery, payment terms, warranty and commercial qualifications.
• Vendor/OEM Coordination: Obtain competitive pricing, technical support and delivery commitments from manufacturers and suppliers; negotiate commercially to improve bid competitiveness.
• Customer Management: Handle customer communication, technical clarifications, quotation revisions and commercial discussions professionally and within agreed response timelines.
• Follow-Up & Order Conversion: Maintain structured follow-up of submitted quotations, understand
competitor/customer positioning, support negotiations and drive opportunities toward order closure.
• Business Development Support: Identify repeat business, cross-selling and new-account opportunities within assigned customers and market segments.
