Position Description

The Infrastructure Change & Release Manager is responsible for governing, coordinating, and continuously improving the end to end Change Enablement and Release Management processes across enterprise IT infrastructure.

The role ensures that infrastructure changes and releases are properly assessed, authorized, scheduled, communicated, implemented, and reviewed, while minimizing business disruption and maintaining service availability.

The position works closely with Infrastructure Operations, Cloud, Network, Database, Security, Application, Service Management, Project/Program Management, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Change Management / Change Enablement
• Own and manage the enterprise Change Management / Change Enablement process.
• Review infrastructure RFCs for completeness, technical readiness, risk, impact, dependencies, implementation plans, testing evidence, rollback plans, and business approvals.
• Classify and manage: Standard Changes Normal Changes Emergency Changes
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and, where required,



Emergency CAB (ECAB) meetings.
• Ensure high risk and business critical changes receive appropriate technical and business approvals.
• Maintain the enterprise Change Calendar / Forward Schedule of Change (FSC).
• Identify scheduling conflicts between infrastructure, application, security, maintenance, and release activities.
• Coordinate changes across technologies including: Windows/Linux VMware/virtualization Azure/AWS/cloud infrastructure Network and firewall Database Storage and backup Middleware End user computing Cybersecurity infrastructure
• Ensure changes comply with organizational governance, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
