• 5-8 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 2 years of

production GCP experience specifically.

• Robust working proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, including module design and

state management across multiple environments.

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Memorystore, VPC/Shared VPC,

Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, and Cloud DNS in a production setting.

• Experience with Harness (or a comparable CI/CD platform such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure

DevOps with a willingness to learn Harness specifically) for multi-environment deployment

pipelines.

• Experience with cross-cloud or hybrid-cloud networking, including VPN or interconnect-style

connectivity between two cloud providers.

• Working familiarity with containerization (Docker) and container security hardening practices.
• Experience configuring IAM, service accounts,



and secrets management (Secret Manager, KMS, or

equivalent) under a least-privilege model.

• Comfort working with WebSocket-based application architectures and diagnosing connection-

timeout, load-balancer pass-through, and long-lived-session issues.

• Familiarity with database migration tooling (GCP Database Migration Service or equivalent) and

basic schema-conversion concepts, particularly T-SQL to PostgreSQL syntax differences.

• Experience with Okta and/or Microsoft Entra ID federation in a multi-cloud identity context.
• Nice to have Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Network

Engineer certification.

• Good to have prior experience specifically migrating Azure Cosmos DB or Azure SQL Database

workloads to Cloud SQL.
