LuminaData is the agentic platform for the finance workflows ERPs can't handle. Our AI agents run invoicing, cash application, collections, reconciliation, reporting and forecasting for finance teams at US companies. We have seven agents in production, a growing number of users, and backing from Techstars and Berkeley SkyDeck.

Why this role
You'll be one of our first sales hires. You'll open conversations with CFOs and controllers in the US, sit in on CEO-led discovery calls, and learn finance operations deeply enough to sell it. As we build out the sales team, there's a explicit path from SDR to Account Executive or a founding sales role.

What you'll do

Prospect
• Research target accounts against our ideal customer profiles and find the right decision-makers: CFOs, controllers and finance operations leaders.
• Build accurate prospect lists and find a specific reason to reach out to each account.
• Leverage thought leadership content (Linkedin, Podcast, Blogs ) to engage with prospects

Open doors




• Cold call finance leaders at US companies, and run coordinated outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Explain what LuminaData does, uncover the prospect's problems, and handle first objections.
• Work structured sequences, follow up consistently, and re-engage leads that went quiet.
• Use our podcast and customer stories to give prospects a reason to reply.

Qualify and hand over
• Qualify for fit, need, stakeholders and timing, then book discovery meetings
• Prepare a short brief for each meeting covering the account, the prospect's problems and past interactions.
• Support follow-ups and proposal coordination, and keep CRM accurate.

Learn and report
• Send a weekly update on conversations, qualified meetings and opportunities.
• Track connect rates, reply rates and show rates, and use what you hear from prospects to sharpen targeting and messaging.
