Associate Director – Investments (Defined Benefit Portfolio Management)
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the growth of our DB (Defined Benefit) fiduciary investment management business (commonly referred to as OCIO or Outsourced Chief Investment Officer). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in fiduciary management or investment consulting for DB pension or insurance investment portfolios. The role may also appeal to other candidates with a robust investment background and technological expertise, but seeking a new opportunity. The successful candidate will be a key member of the US Defined Benefit Portfolio Management team responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring leading investment strategies tailored to each client using Mercer’s best ideas.

• Develop, run, and maintain existing quantitative models to enhance our client offerings.
• Create, manage, and enhance proprietary investment models and tools (such as VaR, interest rate hedging, liability valuation, and liability-driven investing) for DB pension portfolios and client reports.
• Help maintain daily monitoring valuation model for clients on Mercer Dynamic De-Risking Solution (MDDS) platform.
• Drive automation and streamlining efforts to improve processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand client requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
