8 Figure Finance is a growing accounting and finance firm. We help businesses build and operate a stronger finance function without hiring an entire in-house team.
We work alongside founders and leadership teams on the financial work that keeps their businesses running and helps them make better decisions. That includes accounting and financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, FP&A;, and strategic finance.
Our goal is to be more than a firm that delivers financial statements. We want to be an extension of our clients’ businesses: understanding how they operate, building the financial infrastructure they need, and giving leadership explicit, reliable information to make decisions.
We’re growing quickly, and we’re looking for someone who wants to play a meaningful role in that growth.
The role
8FF’s CFO practice is growing, and every client engagement runs on a model: multi-year forecasts, monthly variance, 13-week cash flow, and profitability.
This role owns those models and the knowledge behind them.
You’ll learn each CFO client’s model and business closely enough to keep it current, explain what changed, and spot what matters before anyone asks. You’ll also be the person who makes sure our CFO walks into every client meeting fully prepared.
This is not a role where you only update cells. We want someone who understands why the numbers moved and what the client should do about it.
What you’ll do
Own the models
• Learn each CFO client’s financial model inside and out, including its structure, assumptions, drivers, and known weaknesses
• Run the monthly model update: load actuals after close, roll the forecast, and refresh variance analysis
• Refresh 13-week cash flow forecasts weekly for clients who need them
• Maintain model integrity through checks, version control, and clean documentation, so any model can be picked up and understood
• Recommend when a model
