Role Description

The Senior Wedding Planner will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of luxury and destination weddings, ensuring each event aligns with the client’s vision and Viraaya Weddings’ quality standards. This full time, on-site role is based in Delhi, India, and involves managing client consultations, developing detailed event plans and timelines, and coordinating with venues, vendors, and internal teams.



Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing budgets, contracts, and logistics; directing décor and design implementation; and managing guest experience and hospitality. The Senior Wedding Planner will supervise on-ground operations, handle last-minute changes, and ensure seamless event flow from pre-wedding functions through post-event wrap-up. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing ideas to enhance the company’s service offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong event planning and wedding planning skills, with proven experience managing complex, multi-day luxury or destination weddings.
• Expertise in planning and budgeting, including cost estimation, vendor negotiations, and maintaining financial oversight throughout the project.
