We combine strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on execution, taking systems from first-principles analysis and design through prototyping, testing, qualification, and deployment.
We are looking for a hands-on R&D; Engineer with robust fundamentals in fluid mechanics and turbomachinerywho enjoys solving challenging engineering problems.
You will work on the development of compact, high-speed centrifugal pumps, taking concepts from first-principles calculations through impeller design, rapid prototyping, experimental testing, and performance optimization.
This is a core R&D; and product development role, not an equipment selection or package engineering position. We are looking for engineers who can develop new designs, challenge assumptions, investigate problems, and translate engineering theory into working hardware.

What We're Looking For
Impeller Design & Turbomachinery Fundamentals




• Hands-on experience designing centrifugal pump impellers from first principles, rather than relying solely on established standards, empirical correlations, or existing designs.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and turbomachinery fundamentals.
• Ability to independently perform flow, pressure, head, and power calculations.
• Understanding of Euler's turbomachinery equation and velocity triangles.
• Experience determining blade/vane inlet and outlet angles.
• Impeller diameter, width, and flow passage sizing.
• Slip factor, hydraulic losses, and efficiency estimation.
• Experience in volute design and sizing.
• Understanding of cavitation, NPSH, and pump operating limits.
• Ability to predict and generate pump performance curves.
