Designation: QA/QC Civil Engineer

Job Location: Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Civil Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in civil construction quality assurance and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable IS codes, and quality standards. Experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect civil construction activities, including excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.

- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and applicable IS codes.

- Prepare and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and inspection checklists.

- Conduct reinforcement, shuttering, concrete pouring, and material quality inspections.

- Monitor concrete slump tests, cube sampling, compressive strength tests, and other material testing activities.

- Verify material test certificates, laboratory reports,



and maintain quality documentation.

- Prepare and maintain inspection requests (WIR/IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), NCRs, pour cards, and quality reports.

- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, clients, and third-party laboratories.

- Identify quality issues, ensure corrective actions, and maintain compliance with project quality standards.

Key Requirements:

- B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering.

- 4–7 years of experience in QA/QC within civil construction.

- Experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of concrete technology, reinforcement inspection, construction material testing, and applicable IS codes.

- Hands-on experience with QAP, ITP, WIR/IR, MIR, NCR, and quality documentation.

- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

- Valuable communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
