Job Description:

Job Title: Safety In-charge (Ex-Army)

Department: Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE)

Industry Type: Heavy Engineering / Iron & Steel / Railway Components Manufacturing

Location: Raipur / Chhattisgarh Industrial Area

- Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Factories Act, State Factory Rules, and local safety directorate guidelines. Maintain all mandatory safety registers and documentation.

- Shop Floor Safety Oversight: Monitor daily operations across heavy structural fabrication yards, welding zones, material handling, and high-tonnage crane/rigging movements.

- Hazard Control & Risk Assessment: Conduct regular Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and implement preventive engineering controls.

- Training & Drills:



Lead daily/weekly safety briefing sessions, toolbox talks, and periodic mock drills (fire fighting, structural collapse, medical emergency).

- Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for any near-misses, injuries, or property damage incidents, and formulate corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.

- PPE & Safety Audits: Enforce strict utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and execute internal safety audits to identify and rectify workplace hazards proactively.
