About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable, resident warehouse manager to run day-to-day operations at our warehouse in Bhiwandi. You will be the single point of contact for loading/unloading, labour, transporters and stock, and will report to our office team.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse and stock

- Receive, check and store incoming goods, and ensure correct dispatch of outgoing goods
- Maintain stock registers (inward, outward, balance) accurately and update them daily
- Do periodic physical stock checks and report any mismatch, damage or shortage immediately
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe, including the living premises and surroundings

Labour management

- Arrange labour for loading and unloading as required, including on short notice
- Supervise work, keep attendance records and ensure fair, timely payment
- Resolve minor disputes and keep a good working relationship with the labour team

Transport coordination

- Connect and build relationships with local transporters and truck owners
- Get competitive freight quotes, negotiate rates and help reduce transportation costs
- Coordinate vehicle arrival, loading and departure, and keep records of trips and rates

Reporting and coordination





- Send daily updates to the office on stock, truck movement, labour and any issues
- Coordinate with office staff on documents such as challans, bills and vehicle details
- Maintain a daily cash register with vouchers for all petty cash and labour payments

Security

- Keep the premises secure, control entry and exit, and report incidents promptly

Requirements
- Minimum 10th pass (graduate preferred)
- Able to read and write basic English, and fluent in Hindi (Marathi is a plus)
- 2+ years of experience as a warehouse supervisor, godown in-charge or similar
- Prior experience handling labour and local transporters
- Working knowledge of stock registers; basic Excel is an added advantage
- Honest and trustworthy, since the role involves handling cash and stock
- Patient, understanding and firm when needed, with good street smartness
- Willing to stay on premises alone or with family and be available on all days, with a weekly off arranged by rotation or relief

Working Conditions
- Work is needed 7 days a week, depending on truck movement and daily operations
- Occasional odd-hour availability for urgent loading or unloading
- One fortnightly off to be agreed at joining
