Role Description The Volunteer role at Design Affairs - India is a full time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. In this role, the volunteer supports project teams with day-to-day tasks such as organizing project documentation, assisting with basic design and planning activities under supervision, and helping coordinate internal meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities may include preparing simple presentations, updating project records, supporting communication with stakeholders, and contributing to research on materials, design trends, and local regulations.



The volunteer collaborates closely with architects, planners, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of project activities.

Qualifications

- Ability to assist with basic design, planning, and documentation tasks, with strong attention to detail.
- Comfort using common office and collaboration tools (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages in Delhi is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with diverse team members on-site.
- Interest in architecture, urban planning, or the built workplace; relevant academic background or coursework is beneficial.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Delhi, India, and to comply with organizational policies and safety guidelines.
