Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Delhi, India.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and creating polished videos that align with project briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, performing basic and advanced color correction, and integrating motion graphics or titles as needed. The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers, and designers to refine story structure, maintain visual consistency, and meet deadlines.

Editor will also manage project files, export deliverables in required formats, and stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with different video formats and cameras.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to ensure visual consistency and mood.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and straightforward visual elements.
- Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Candidates should demonstrate strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and a good sense of pacing, composition, and sound design.
- Candidates should have the ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively in a team, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing recent video editing work is required; a diploma or degree in film, media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
