Role Description

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join KG Productions in a full-time, on-site role in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of visual storytelling, music, pacing, and style, with an interest in beauty pageants and fashion content.

You will edit a range of content, including contestant introductions, fashion films, runway highlights, event promos, behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, and social media reels. Working closely with our creative and production teams, you will turn raw footage into polished videos that capture each production’s energy, elegance, and personality.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging videos for beauty pageants, fashion shows, promotional campaigns, and social media.
- Create contestant profiles, introduction videos, runway edits, event recaps, and backstage content.
- Use music, sound design, transitions, and pacing to build compelling visual stories.
- Apply color correction and grading to maintain consistent skin tones and enhance wardrobe, lighting, and overall visual quality.




- Incorporate titles, motion graphics, lower thirds, and visual effects where appropriate.
- Adapt videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and event screens, ensuring the correct formats and specifications.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and designers to interpret creative briefs and incorporate feedback.
- Organize footage and project files, manage revisions, and deliver finished videos within production deadlines.

Qualifications

- A strong portfolio showcasing video editing work, preferably in fashion, beauty, pageants, lifestyle, or entertainment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics tools.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, music selection, sound editing, and color grading.
- An eye for fashion aesthetics, composition, detail, and contemporary editing styles.
- Ability to work with multicamera event footage and maintain continuity across sequences.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to manage multiple edits under tight deadlines.
- Availability to work on-site in New Delhi, with flexibility around event schedules.
- A diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field is an advantage.
