Role Description The Video Editor role at Cockatoo Pixels is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi.

The Video

Editor will work closely with designers, copywriters, and other creative team members to edit video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, digital campaigns, and brand presentations. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and ensuring consistent visual style aligned with brand guidelines. The role also involves basic motion graphics work, color correction and grading,



and collaborating on storyboards to enhance visual narratives.

The Video

Editor is expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for marketing, social media, and brand campaigns.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone and style.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to collaborate within a creative team, manage time effectively, and work in office in Kochi.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio showcasing previous video work is required.
