Role Description The Vice President of Marketing and Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and executing Nexa Sec’s go-to-market strategy. This position oversees integrated marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and demand generation to drive growth across target markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading market analysis, developing strategic marketing plans, guiding content and campaign development, and managing public relations and external communications.

The role also directs business development activities, including identifying new market opportunities,



building strategic partnerships, and collaborating with sales and product teams to create aligned revenue strategies. This leader will manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, set performance metrics, and ensure that marketing and business development efforts effectively communicate Nexa Sec’s value in the cybersecurity landscape.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Marketing and Marketing Management, with experience building and scaling programs in B2B technology or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Market Planning and Market Research to identify opportunities, segment audiences, and inform data-driven strategies.
- Experience in Public Relations, including media outreach, thought leadership, and reputation management in technical or regulated industries.
- Demonstrated success in business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue-focused initiatives.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts for diverse audiences.
- Background in digital marketing, demand generation, and performance analytics is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
