The platform offers a gamified, quiz-first app that tests deep understanding of African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Role Description As a User Experience Designer at Superfan.ng, you will design intuitive, engaging user journeys for a gamified educational app focused on African languages and culture. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and content creators to translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Daily tasks include conducting user research, synthesizing insights, iterating on designs, and ensuring that the app experience is accessible, inclusive, and optimized for mobile devices.





You will also contribute to the visual design system and maintain consistency across screens and features. This is a full-time, remote role.

Qualifications

- Strong User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking skills to structure user journeys and solve problems from a user-centered perspective.
- Experience with User Research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather and analyze user insights.
- Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using contemporary design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional remote teams, communicate clearly, and present design decisions to stakeholders.
- Understanding of mobile-first design, accessibility principles, and best practices for gamified or educational products.
- Prior experience in edtech, language learning, or culturally focused products is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
