About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Unified Communications SME / Voice Solution Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice, Teams Phone, cloud telephony, and PSTN migration.

The role will involve Microsoft Teams telephony implementation, tenant configuration, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, PSTN replacement, technical design documentation, and coordination with telecom carriers and technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and validate Proof of Concept (PoC) designs for Microsoft Teams Telephony.
- Configure and administer Microsoft Teams / Microsoft 365 environments.
- Configure Teams Phone routing, calling policies, Direct Routing, and Operator Connect.
- Drive legacy-to-cloud PSTN replacement and migration projects.
- Coordinate with telecom operators, carriers, and technology vendors during migrations.
- Manage SIP trunking, number porting, and carrier integration activities.
- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Create call-flow diagrams, network pathing, and operational documentation.
- Manage ITIL-based operational workflows and Change Management activities.
- Prepare risk assessments, change requests, rollback plans, and CAB submissions.




- Participate in multi-vendor technical discussions, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Unified Communications, Microsoft Teams infrastructure, cloud telephony, or network transition projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice / Teams Phone / Teams Telephony.
- Robust Microsoft 365 and Teams administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Direct Routing.
- Experience with Operator Connect.
- Strong understanding of PSTN migration and replacement projects.
- Experience with SIP trunking and number porting.
- Experience developing HLD and LLD documentation.
- Understanding of call flows and network pathing.
- Good knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Experience coordinating with telecom carriers and multiple technology vendors.
- Strong communication, documentation, and technical coordination skills.
