Function: HR Technology & Solution Architecture

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced UKG Pro HCM Solution Architect to own end-to-end HCM architecture and establish UKG Pro as the primary HR system of record. The role involves designing enterprise integration strategies, governing HR data flows, and ensuring seamless integration between UKG Pro, ADP Payroll, and Workday Timekeeping.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in UKG Pro architecture, HCM functional domains, enterprise integrations, data governance, security, and global HR technology implementations.

Key Responsibilities1. Solution Architecture & Governance

- Define target architecture, solution standards, system ownership, and design principles.
- Lead architecture decisions, design reviews, and technical governance.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable HCM solutions.

2. UKG Pro Functional Architecture

- Provide architectural oversight across Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Talent, People Assist, Reporting, and Security.
- Define employee data ownership, workflows, organizational structures, and lifecycle processes.
- Align functional requirements with enterprise architecture and business objectives.

3. ADP Payroll & Workday Timekeeping Integration

- Govern employee and employment data flows between UKG Pro, ADP Payroll, and Workday Timekeeping.
- Define integration controls, reconciliation processes, monitoring, error handling, and operational support.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR, payroll, and timekeeping systems.

4. Enterprise Integration Strategy

- Design API, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, and batch integrations across HR, Finance, Benefits, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and analytics platforms.




- Define data mapping, transformation, validation, and integration monitoring standards.
- Drive reliable, secure, and effective data exchange across enterprise applications.

5. Employee Lifecycle & Data Governance

- Ensure consistent data flows across hiring, onboarding, transfers, compensation changes, timekeeping, payroll, termination, and rehire.
- Establish data quality, role-based access, privacy, audit, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Support HR data ownership and system-of-record governance.

6. Implementation & Delivery Leadership

- Lead architecture workshops, fit-gap assessments, and solution design sessions.
- Oversee data migration, integration testing, deployment, hypercare, and continuous optimization.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, Security, Finance, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in HCM, HR technology, and enterprise solution architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro.
- Strong knowledge of Core HR, employee lifecycle management, workflows, security, and organizational structures.
- Mandatory integration experience with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping.
- Experience designing REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP integrations, middleware/iPaaS, and batch interfaces.
- Strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, monitoring, and error handling.
- Proven experience in architecture governance, global HCM implementations, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, solution design, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- UKG Pro certifications in Core HR or integrations.
- Experience with Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato.
- Knowledge of GDPR and regional HR data privacy regulations.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related discipline.
