Role Description The Traffic Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhiwandi, responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily transport operations. This role involves planning vehicle routes, assigning loads, and scheduling dispatches to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal fleet utilization.

The Traffic

Manager tracks shipments, communicates with drivers and warehouse teams, and resolves issues such as delays, route changes, and customer queries. The role includes maintaining accurate transport records, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and monitoring fuel usage and other operating costs.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in transport planning, route optimization, and daily dispatch coordination.
- Ability to monitor fleet movements, manage schedules, and respond quickly to operational disruptions.
- Competence in maintaining accurate logs, documentation, and basic reporting related to trips and deliveries.
- Working knowledge of local traffic regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and, ideally, transport management or GPS tracking systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management is highly beneficial.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work in office in Bhiwandi and manage time-sensitive operations with flexibility when required.
