Position Title: Test Architect – Automation Testing (100% Automation)

Role Overview As a Test Architect for Automation Testing, you will drive 100% automated test strategy, framework design, and execution for high-performance network switching products and industrial networking hardware. Operating in a hybrid capacity from Bengaluru, you will leverage Python-based automation frameworks, traffic generators, and protocol analyzers to architect comprehensive performance, scale, soak, and robustness testing across embedded Linux environments. Key Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Architecture: Design, build, and scale 100% hands-on Pythonbased test automation frameworks for enterprise and industrial switching platforms.
- Protocol & Network Validation: Architect test suites to validate Ethernet, TCP/IP, and L2/L3 protocols including VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation, DHCP, IGMP, QoS, ACLs, and Redundancy protocols (VRRP, MRP, HSR/PRP).
- Traffic & Stress Engineering: Utilize advanced traffic generators (IXIA, Spirent, TRex) to execute end-to-end performance, scale, soak, robustness, and stress testing.




- Embedded System Debugging: Perform deep packet-level analysis and debugging using Wireshark and Scapy inside embedded Linux environments.
- Industrial System Testing: Lead test strategies for rugged, high-reliability industrial switches and network appliances. Required Qualification s • Experience: 14+ years of dedicated hands-on experience testing network switching products with complete focus on automated validation.
- Programming & Tools: Expertise in Python automation development, traffic generation tools (IXIA, Spirent, TRex), and packet inspection tools (Wireshark, Scapy).
- Networking Expertise: In-depth technical domain mastery across L2/L3 networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, QoS, ACLs, Link Aggregation, and Redundancy protocols.
- Embedded Systems: Proven ability to debug, trace, and troubleshoot network firmware issues within embedded Linux environments. Positive-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on testing experience with industrial switches (Belden, Hirschmann, Siemens, Cisco IE, Moxa).
- Knowledge of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), SCADA/IIoT networking, and Industrial Ethernet standards (IEC 61850, EN50155, PROFINET, ETB).
- Exposure to network cybersecurity testing standards (IEC 62443).
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIS.
