Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Team Leader role based in Simdega for Paytm Payments.

The Team

Leader will oversee a field and/or branch team responsible for acquiring and supporting merchants, driving usage of Paytm payment solutions, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Daily responsibilities include planning and monitoring team targets, coaching team members, resolving operational issues, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves reviewing performance metrics, conducting regular reporting,



and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

- Proven experience leading teams in sales, operations, or customer service, ideally within financial services, fintech, or retail.
- Strong skills in team management, performance monitoring, and coaching to achieve business targets.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with merchants, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort with digital payment products and basic understanding of financial services and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address issues and provide transparent guidance.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, mobile apps) for reporting and tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Prior experience working in or around the Simdega region and familiarity with local markets is an advantage.
