Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor role is a full-time, in office position based in Jaipur. The advisor will guide students through the process of identifying suitable international programs, scholarships, and grants, and support them in building strong academic and extracurricular profiles. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, reviewing student documents, advising on eligibility and admission requirements, and helping students navigate application timelines.





The advisor will coordinate visa and pre-departure guidance, provide clear information about financial aid options, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate program and scholarship information. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, using Standyou’s data-enabled platform to track student progress, and delivering high-quality, student-centered advising services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Educational Consulting and Consulting to guide students on suitable programs, scholarships, and admissions pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to conduct effective one-on-one advising sessions and build trust with students and families.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Visas and related procedures to support students with study permit and pre-departure guidance.
- Relevant experience in study abroad advising, career counseling, or higher education services is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, international relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Comfort using digital platforms, CRM tools, and data to inform advising decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate a student-focused, ethical advising approach.
