Role Description The Structural cum Architectural BIM Modeller role is a full-time based in Chennai. This role involves developing and managing detailed BIM models for structural and architectural elements, ensuring accuracy and consistency across project stages. The professional in this role will interpret and translate construction drawings and design documentation into coordinated 3D models, working closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Daily tasks include model updating, clash detection, documentation support, and preparing views, schedules,



and details required for digital delivery and coordination. The role also requires adherence to project standards, collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, and contribution to continuous improvement of digital workflows and modelling best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including multidisciplinary model creation, coordination, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Architecture and structural design principles, with experience translating design intent into accurate digital models.
- Hands-on experience as a Modeler for building and infrastructure projects, including working with detailed construction documentation.
- Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and integration within BIM environments.
- Ability to interpret and develop Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailing.
- Proficiency in relevant BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or equivalent) and understanding of BIM standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and model accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in multidisciplinary, project-based teams.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, structural engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in BIM modelling for structural and architectural projects, preferably within digital engineering or AEC firms.
