Role Description The Startup Engagement Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with technology startups, unicorns, and investors across India’s tech ecosystem. In this full-time remote role, the manager will onboard new member organizations, understand their priorities, and connect them with relevant programs, initiatives, and policy dialogues. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating community events and virtual roundtables, managing communications with member startups, and gathering feedback on key regulatory and ecosystem issues.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams on research projects, preparing briefing notes for advocacy efforts,



and curating content for newsletters and updates to keep members informed. The manager will also track ecosystem trends, identify new collaboration opportunities, and support strategic partnerships that advance IndiaTech.org’s mission.

Qualifications

3-5 years of

- Experience in stakeholder management, partnership development, or community building within startups, technology, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in communication, relationship management, and networking, with the ability to engage founders, investors, and policy stakeholders.
- Ability to manage projects and programs, including planning events, coordinating initiatives, and tracking outcomes in a structured manner.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and digital platforms, with strong organizational and time-management skills for a fully remote, full-time role.
- Analytical skills to understand ecosystem trends, synthesize insights from conversations, and contribute to research and advocacy efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public policy, communications, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience working with startups, industry associations, accelerators, or investor networks is highly beneficial.
