Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PD Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end product development process for export orders. The role involves coordinating with design, sampling, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely sample development, accurate costing, buyer satisfaction, and smooth execution of orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Development: Manage the complete product development cycle, from concept and sample development to production handover, in coordination with design, sampling, and production teams.
- Costing & Pricing: Prepare accurate cost sheets covering fabric, trims, labour, and other expenses while ensuring competitive pricing and optimum margins.
- TNA Management: Develop and monitor Time & Action (TNA) calendars to ensure timely completion of sampling, approvals, and order milestones.
- Buyer Coordination: Maintain effective communication with buyers regarding product development, sample submissions, approvals, costing, and delivery timelines.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with design, sourcing, sampling,



and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure samples and developed products meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and export requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of product specifications, sample approvals, costing sheets, order status, and development reports.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve product development issues, delays, and costing discrepancies to ensure effective execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in product development merchandising within the apparel manufacturing or export industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, sampling, and costing.
- Good understanding of TNA management and buyer coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines efficiently.
