Join Quikjet Cargo Airlines and play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless flight operations. As part of the Flight Dispatch and Operations Control Centre (OCC), you will support flight planning, monitor aircraft movements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive On-Time Performance (OTP) across daily operations.
This opportunity is ideal for aviation professionals with strong operational coordination skills, situational awareness, and a commitment to flight safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
? Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in OCC or Flight Operations functions is required.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Support flight dispatch activities, including operational flight planning, ATC flight plan preparation and filing, flight briefing, and compilation of trip-kit documentation.
- Monitor weather conditions, NOTAMs, navigation aids, fuel requirements, airport conditions, routes, and alternate aerodromes to support safe flight operations.
- Coordinate with operating crew, flight dispatchers, Air Traffic Services (ATS), airport operations control centres, and internal departments to facilitate smooth flight operations.
- Monitor flight schedules, aircraft movements, and operational milestones to achieve optimal On-Time Performance (OTP).
- Track aircraft movements through flight following and flight watch, ensuring timely communication of operational updates, delays, and other relevant information.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) regarding aircraft serviceability, operational restrictions, refuelling,
and potential disruptions.
- Monitor crew roster and Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) compliance using designated systems and ensure timely communication of crew schedules.
- Identify actual or anticipated operational delays, escalate issues to the appropriate management level, and support disruption management to minimise operational impact.
- Follow established Emergency Response Plan (ERP) procedures and maintain accurate records of emergency-related communications and actions.
- Maintain and update operational documents, flight records, software systems, and dispatch resources, ensuring accuracy and proper upkeep.
- Conduct shift handovers, operational briefings, self-audits, and mandatory reporting to ensure continuity and effectiveness of OCC operations.
- Ensure adherence to company manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), DGCA regulations, safety requirements, and applicable operational policies.
