Role Description The Database Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable database architectures that support business applications and analytics. Day-to-day tasks include defining data models, optimizing database performance, overseeing database administration activities, and ensuring data integrity and security.

The Database

Architect will collaborate with development, DevOps, and analytics teams to support application releases, design ETL workflows, and improve data accessibility. The role also involves evaluating new database technologies, documenting architecture standards,



and contributing to best practices for data management across the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Architecture and Data Modeling for designing robust, scalable data solutions.
- Must have skills in couch base
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Couchbase, Database Design and Database Administration for building, tuning, and maintaining production databases.
- Candidates should possess hands-on skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes for integrating data from multiple sources into analytical and operational systems.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB) and performance optimization techniques.
- Solid understanding of data security, backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting or programming languages (such as Python or Shell) for automation and data operations.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and document architectures and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
