Job Summary

Ambience Group is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer Waterproofing to manage and supervise waterproofing activities at its real estate project, Ambience Creacions, Sector 22, Gurugram. The candidate will be responsible for execution, quality control, leakage prevention, and rectification of waterproofing works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor waterproofing works in basements, terraces, podiums, balconies, toilets, kitchens, swimming pools, and water tanks.
- Ensure proper execution of waterproofing systems, including APP/SBS membranes, PU coatings, cementitious waterproofing, and liquid-applied membranes.
- Inspect surface preparation, substrate conditions, slope, and drainage arrangements before waterproofing application.
- Conduct ponding tests and water leakage tests to verify the effectiveness of waterproofing systems.
- Identify water seepage and leakage issues and implement suitable corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with contractors, waterproofing agencies, consultants, vendors, and project management teams.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings,



method statements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality checklists, daily progress reports, and inspection records.
- Monitor manpower, material consumption, work progress, and contractor performance.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, approvals, and closure of observations.
- Ensure timely completion of waterproofing activities while maintaining quality and site safety standards.

Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Required Skills And Experience

- 510 years of experience in civil construction and waterproofing works, preferably in high-rise residential or commercial real estate projects.
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing materials, application techniques, and leakage rectification methods.
- Experience in basement waterproofing, terrace treatment, podium waterproofing, and wet-area waterproofing.
- Ability to read civil drawings, interpret technical specifications, and prepare site reports.
- Robust site supervision, contractor management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
